("Aia i ka mole o Lehua" (the foundation is Niihau) from Olelo Noeau, by Mary Pukui is our belief that it is essential for our children to become highly skilled bilingual speakers. KANAKA PCS provides both Hawaiian and English language so our children will have the skills necessary to become leaders and productive members of society. Once these children grow to maturity, the mana leo voice of our community will be clearly articulated and heard by all surrounding communities. This will allow our students to express their cultural values and meaningful ways.)
